Master Urdu

Our 1 year Urdu course aims to enable students to be able to understand, read, write, and speak the Urdu language over a one year period. Students, even those without any previous exposure to Urdu, should be able to obtain a 7-9 Urdu GCSE grade by the end of the course, as well as gaining significant exposure to the literature of many of our pious predecessors from the Indian subcontinent. Additional aspects taught in this year are an introduction to Islamic jurisprudence, a brief study of the Sirah, and learning the Qur'an with a high level of Tajwīd.
