Courses

Students have a choice of enrolling onto a number of study courses at Darul Uloom. Each course can be completed individually (subject to fulfilment of the entry requirements), though completion of all would enable one to become a fully-fledged scholar of Deen.

Hifdh Course

The Hifdh course enables students to complete the memorisation of the Qur'an. Students progress at different rates in line with devotion to their studies and ability. Those who devote the required commitment can complete memorisation of the Qur'an over a period of two years. Significant emphasis is placed on Tajwīd and dohr (revision). Upon memorization of the Holy Qur'an, students are awarded a prestigious certificate of "Hafidh of the Qur'an". This accredits and enables students to teach the Qur'an and lead congregational Tarawih prayers.
